Stacey St.Ores Owner and Level 5 Stylist
Stacey barely started walking when everyone knew she was going to be following in her mother's footsteps. She attended Iowa School of Beauty while finishing her senior year at Southeast Polk High School. She graduated from high school in January of 2000 and cosmetology school in August 2000 and has never looked back. Stacey and her wife Heather purchased HairFX Salon and Spa from Stacey's parents, Craig and Anita, in 2019. While owning and managing the salon, Stacey continues to keep her family at the center of her life. One of the first decisions Stacey made as an owner/stylist was to invest in the Summit Salon Business Center to help the salon and its team continue to grow. SHe also started a mentoring program, became a mentor and educator for the salon to grow the next generation of stylists. While doing this Stacey continues to provide elite skills and an exceptional experience to every guest that sits in her chair.
Anita Long Level 5 Stylist and Artist Educator
Anita is currently only accepting new referrals. She was an artistic educator for Matrix for 32 years. SHe was part of the cutting team and education team. She opened HairFX in 1998. Stacey joined the family business in 2000, later purchasing the salon in 2019. Anita is certified to do microdermabrasion and chemical peels in addition to cosmetology. She is passionate about education and loves to learn new things. Her true passion is people and making them feel and look beautiful.
Desiree Nuckolls Level 4 Stylist
Desiree graduated from LaJames Cosmetology School in 2006 and has been part of the HairFX family since 2010. Married to her high school sweetheart, Desiree has 3 boys and 4 fur babies. She loves to help people look and feel their best. She loves bringing out peoples' natural beauty. She specializes in color, highlighting, and all haircuts. Desiree lives an active lifestyle; CrossFit, camping, hiking, and shopping are a few of her favorite things to do. Her positive mindset and fantastic teamwork add great value to our team.
Gracie Ewen Level 1 Stylist
Gracie joined the HairFx family in 2022 after graduating from LaJames Cosmetology School in March 2022. She loves connecting with clients and making them feel their true selves through their appearance. She is always staying updated on the newest trends and techniques within the hair world. When she is not behind the chair she spends her time exploring Des Moines, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family. Her favorite thing about being a stylist is making people gain confidence through their hair.
Keisha Henry Level 3 Stylist
Keisha has been behind the chair since graduating from LaJames Cosmetology School in 2007. She joined HairFX in 2013. Currently Keisha is part-time; however, she still strives to provide each guest in her chair the best experience. Using her precision skills to make people feel great about themselves has always been one of Keisha's favorite parts about being a stylist. Her specialties include haircuts of any age, foiling, balayage, and perms. Continuing education is very important to Keisha, and she loves staying up on the latest trends. She can't wait to meet you and make your day!
Kendra Quinn Level 3 Stylist and Assistant Manager
Kendra has been in the beauty profession for 16 years. Her last 7 years at HairFX have been the most rewarding and have driven her purpo se and passion. She loves meeting new guests, learning their own individual story, and creating a look unique to each of them. Kendra is certified in Matrix balayage and Wahl Men's clippering. She is aways soaking up the profession's education and sharing it with the salon to make everyone feel more knowledgeable. She loves making people look and feel their best. In her time away from the salon she loves spending time with family, catering special events on the weekends, and traveling with her daughter and friends to support their competitive cheerleading dreams.
Hailey Brown
Level 3 Stylist
Hailey joined the HairFX family in 2015 after graduating from Iowa School of Beauty in 2015. She loves building strong connections with her clients and helping them express their personalities through their appearance. She attends numerous continuing education classes each year to always be knowledgeable of the best and healthiest techniques to use. When she isn't behind the chair creating art, you can find her camping, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her friends. Her favorite thing about this profession is the ability to make people look and feel great about themselves.
